On May 2, Dig 4 Kids and the Jimmy Miller Foundation joined forces for the first ever Surf n' Turf event at the Manhattan Beach Pier. Beautiful day as each participant competed in both the surf contest and then played in the volleyball tournament in the afternoon. On Sunday night Sangria held the awards banquet. The entire day felt as if we were transported back to the days when everywhere you looked you saw a friendly face and the sun shined especially bright. We had an Olympic Gold medal volleyball player with Eric Fonoimonoa and founder of Dig 4 Kids with his family. The Miller Family, hula dancers and tacos at the beach you can't ask for more than that a great day was had by all.
